Friendship

No man is an island! Well, that’s too good to be true. We, homo sapiens, a born to be live in a pack or group and survive as a (1) unit in life. That is how we are programmed to be.

I remember when I was in high school, I was into sports, society, taekwondo and prefect. There was little time to spend with friends or hang out with them. Those days I didn’t understand the meaning of ‘friendship’.

Until the day when I had troubles and problems that I couldn’t solve and wasn’t sure what needs to be done. That’s when I realised how much I needed someone to be there, someone to cheer my days, someone to help me forget my troubled days. Only the passing of time can cure and ease the pain. Fortunately, I found my ‘gang’ and truly grateful to have them.

A friend in need, is a friend indeed! I am grateful that I have them. And I would do my very best to help them when they are in trouble like how they help me. It reached to tims when being there is good enough as there is nothing more to share with my dear friends.

In work, friends are of utmost importance in your working environment. There is a need for someone you can trust and put your life in the line on. A friend to listen, to complain and share gossips with. To me, friends are important as my makan buddy or else I ll be eating with a newspaper or a magazine ‘alone’.

In office, I believe it’s best to have all my colleagues as my good friends rather than to be a torn among the roses.

What is leader?

A leader is the man in charge of a group of people, making decisions and guiding the team to the path he believes is right.

A true leader has a different meaning instead. The difference is a true leader has true followers. They, the people in the team, believe in their leader’s vision and decision. They follow their leader not because they have to or forced to or dependent but it’s because they want to. They put their faith and trust on this one man who’s gonna lead them to face all challenges and obstacles ahead.

How?
The leader will need to have his own principles and practise what he preach. It’s no longer ‘what am I doing?’ but ‘why am I doing this and not that?’.

Secondly, to gain respect, trust and friendship from the team and work as a single unit. If there’s no teamwork, there’s no team thus no teammate and no leader would exist.

The beginning of working life

Life is viewed differently by every individual. The ones who enjoyed life are those see it positively…every hurdle and challenge in life is a must to encounter. This is a stepping stone to be a better person filled with experience and wisdom.

Thus, my new working is nevertheless another new world to explore. It all started on 10th Jan 2010, an ACCA graduate began his adventure into the unknown future…
